Job summary

iA Financial Group in Canada is seeking a Senior Product Development Analyst to design, enhance, and bring to market insurance and savings products that meet client needs and support strategic objectives.

You’ll collaborate with actuarial, IT, pricing and marketing teams to review offerings, respond to client needs through distributors, and drive profitable growth while staying abreast of industry trends in a bilingual environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in product development and/or pricing.
• Knowledge of investment funds and savings products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Clear and accessible communication of complex information.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, autonomy and creativity.
• Advanced level of French and English for daily Canada-wide communication.

Responsibilities

• Review and enhance current product offerings.
• Understand client needs with distributors to ensure design and pricing meet their needs.
• Stay informed about competitors’ products to keep offerings industry-leading.
• Recommend actions to drive profitable growth.

As a Senior Product Development Analyst , you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

• - Reviewing and enhancing our current product offering;
• - Understanding client needs in partnership with distributors to ensure that product design and pricing address their needs;
• - Staying informed about competitors’ products and ensuring that our offering positions us as an industry leader;
• - Recommending actions to drive profitable growth;
• - Collaborating with internal partners, including actuarial, IT, pricing, and marketing teams, to design and launch products.

We’re looking for someone who:

• - Holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, finance, or a related field;
• - Has 3 to 5 years of experience in product development and/or pricing;
• - Demonstrates knowledge of investment funds and savings products;
• - Is proficient in Microsoft Office;
• - Stands out for their ability to communicate clearly and explain complex information in an accessible way;
• - Is recognized for their analytical and synthesis skills, autonomy, and creativity;
• - Has an advanced level of proficiency in French and English , as the person in this role will communicate daily with English-speaking clients and partners across Canada by email and phone.
