Job summary

Caribou in Toronto is seeking a Senior Product Designer to make every interaction simple, intuitive and worth returning to, across web, mobile, SMS, push and voice.

You’ll be the senior designer on a small, collaborative team, partnering with Product, Engineering and Customer Success to shape experiences and raise the design quality bar.

The role is hybrid, with in-person days in Toronto and opportunities to work remotely.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing digital products, including mobile apps
• Portfolio demonstrating problem-solving and process
• Experience designing for non-tech users and hourly workers
• Hands-on research with interviews and usability testing

Responsibilities

• Design caregiver/coordinator journeys end-to-end across channels
• Prototype and test engagement/reward experiences to drive return visits
• Establish regular user research cadence and translate insights into product decisions
• Define and uphold a design quality bar across flows and features
• Evolve a scalable design system used by engineers and teams
