Job summary

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) Private Wealth Management seeks a Senior Private Banking Advisor to manage a high net worth client portfolio, analyze financials, and deliver integrated lending, banking and investment solutions. You will work with internal teams to resolve complex credit issues and grow client relationships.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, holistic client needs review, and collaboration across departments to broaden product suites and drive profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience with personal financial planning and a broad knowledge of banking, investment and credit products and services.
• Postsecondary degree or diploma and/or several years of experience in financial services (private client, private banking, advisory, brokerage).
• Certified professional with CIRO-ID licensing and CFP upon hire is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review client portfolios and financial needs holistically and identify opportunities to broaden the client’s suite of products.
• Develop and maintain high-quality relationships with internal and external networks to grow the HNW business.
• Perform risk assessments and in-depth financial analysis on potential/existing high net worth clients to support portfolio plans.
