Job Description

You will play a key role in designing and implementing total rewards programs across Singapore and Malaysia. You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our rewards are competitive, compliant and truly motivating.

  • Manages, designs, plans, and communicates activities related to employee compensation and benefits programs, policies, objectives, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives, budgetary goals, and related legislation. May develop overall or sub‑part compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Reviews market data to determine the company’s competitive position in employee compensation and benefits and develops proposals as needed.
  • Manages relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Programs include but are not limited to: vacation, holiday, time off, sick pay, unemployment, retirement plans, disability, flexible spending, service awards, group health/medical/dental coverage, vendor management, wellness and health education initiatives, life insurance, short‑term incentives, job evaluations, salary increases, salary surveys and market pricing or other specialised total rewards programs and ensures programs meet related legislation.
  • Performs all activities in a safe and responsible manner and supports all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
  • Works and collaborates on other projects and/or assignments as needed.
  • Participates in market surveys and analyzes industry trends to ensure compensation packages are attractive in the market.
  • Collaborates on the development and enhancement of rewards policies and programs (including updates to the Employee Handbook), ensuring alignment with local legislation and best practices.
  • Reviews salary offers and adjustments, providing recommendations to resolve compensation‑related challenges and support fair, competitive pay decisions.
  • Reviews and proposes enhancements to employee benefit programs, keeping benefits competitive and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Supports the rollout of annual compensation planning and global compensation initiatives.
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources; a Specialization in Compensation is a plus.
Experience
  • 4 or more years of relevant experience in Human Resources, ideally with a focus on Compensation or Rewards. Prior experience in the high‑tech industry is an advantage.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Sound judgment and ability to make recommendations within established guidelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for networking internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
