Job summary

PagerDuty is seeking a Senior Principal Industry Analyst Relations to lead our AR program and partner with the product marketing team to shape our story. You will build strategic relationships with the analyst community, coordinate calls, and drive awareness of PagerDuty’s offerings and business strategy.

You will report to the Senior Director of Product Marketing Operations and work across the company to execute AR strategy, manage the calendar, and measure impact on marketing and sales goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8+ years experience in enterprise technology communications, marketing, or product marketing.
  • Experience in Analyst Relations, Product Marketing, Market Research and Strategy.
  • Proven content creation and story shaping, strategic planning, program management and attention to detail.
  • Interest in speeding research and survey delivery with AI and automation tools.

We are looking for a Senior Principal Industry Analyst Relations to lead our AR program by building and executing our strategy and nurturing relationships amongst our analyst community. As part of the product marketing team, you will provide strategic and tactical support that helps shape our story and grow the program. The role will report to the Senior Director of Product Marketing Operations and work closely with key stakeholders across the company to execute AR strategy and nurture PagerDuty’s relationships with the industry analyst community. Analyst relations plays a strategic and visible function at PagerDuty and we’re looking for a collaborative, capable and driven individual who can jump in and make an impact quickly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shape our category story and the industry analyst strategy and program to drive the category
  • Build strategic relationships with current industry analysts while identifying and growing the program
  • Coordinate analyst calls and maintain AR program calendar
  • Drive analyst awareness of PagerDuty’s offerings and expand analyst understanding of company business strategy and product offerings
  • Prepare and support spokespeople engaging with analysts, including creation of briefing materials, compiling presentation content and staffing calls
  • Maintain AR interactions database and lead measurement of the AR program’s impact on both marketing and sales goals
  • Lead and prioritize inbound requests for information including participation in research and customer references
  • Conduct foundational research in analyst coverage areas, competitor investments, etc. to surface recommendations for program growth
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years experience in enterprise technology communications, marketing, or product marketing
  • Working experience in Analyst Relations , Product Marketing , Market Research and Strategy
  • Proven content creation and story shaping, strategic planning, program management and exceptional attention to detail
  • Interest in speeding and improving research and survey delivery with AI and automation tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working with industry analyst firms including Gartner, Forrester Research, IDC

The base salary range for this position is $153,000.00 - $231,000.00 CAD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.

Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
