Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Power Systems or Electromagnetics.
• Proficiency in CDEGS (certification is an asset).
• 3+ years of experience in power system studies.
• Experience with WinIGS required; familiarity with PSCAD, ETAP, or PSS/E is a plus.
• Familiarity with HVDC, FACTS, or renewable integration studies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct grounding system design and analysis.
• Perform lightning protection studies and surge analysis.
• Execute induction studies for overhead lines and pipelines.
• Model and analyze bus configurations for performance.
• Utilize software tools like CDEGS and WinIGS.
• Generate detailed technical reports and calculations.
• Coordinate with project managers and utilities.
