Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in Database/Data/Backend Engineering or similar role.
• Strong hands-on PostgreSQL experience.
• Experience designing schemas, table structures, keys, and relationships.
• Expertise in data architecture, data management, and performance optimization.
• SQL developmentStrong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PostgreSQL databases as the single source of truth for portfolio data.
• Create logical/physical data models, schemas, and indexing strategies.
• Optimize performance for reporting and application workloads.
• Implement historical data retention, snapshots, and data lineage.
• Collaborate with app developers to integrate database and application.
• Support R Shiny web application as a secondary resource.
• Contribute to CI/CD, testing, documentation, and deployment of the data platform.
