Job summary

Fidelity Canada is seeking a Senior Portfolio Services professional to lead discretionary managed accounts oversight and portfolio implementation. You will coordinate trade modelling, reconciliations, and governance across teams to ensure alignment with product design and investment objectives.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in portfolio management or operations, strong analytical and programming skills (Excel, Access, VBA, Python), and a CFA Level 1 or CIM is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of University degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in portfolio management or related field.
• Exposure to portfolio management, product development, trading, or investment operations.
• Analytical/programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective oversight and control of market related portfolio activities, coordinating with trading desks.
• Facilitate portfolio implementation including trade modelling and daily reconciliations review.
• Enhance portfolio oversight, governance, and adherence to investment objectives.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to implement system enhancements and controls.
• Execute pre-trade compliance checks and escalate issues with portfolio managers and compliance.
