Job summary

ISG Search Inc. is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own the technical delivery lifecycle of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) in Toronto.

You will manage source control, branching, Azure DevOps, build and release processes, and deployable packages for enterprise environments. The role requires strong X++ development, SQL, C#/.NET, Power Platform, and ALM/DevOps practices, plus experience with DMF, OData APIs, and Microsoft Fabric.

Qualifications

• > 5 years experience with Dynamics 365 F&O in a technical role.
• > Experience managing complex D365 F&O platform updates.
• > Strong X++ development for customizations and extensions.
• > Proficient in SQL, .NET C#, Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Azure DevOps.
• > Deep understanding of ALM and DevOps practices, including source control, branching and merging, and CI/CD pipelines.
• > Experience provisioning and upgrading enterprise environments and managing performance tests.

Responsibilities

• > Manage the technical delivery lifecycle of D365 F&O including source control, branching, and release management.
• > Administer Azure DevOps, build and deploy packages, and coordinate environment governance.
• > Develop custom extensions using X++ and integrate with Microsoft Fabric and DMF.
• > Plan and execute performance/regression testing across updates and releases.
• > Design scalable integration architectures using DMF and OData APIs.

Senior Platform Engineer D365 F&O

Location: Toronto, ON (3 days per week onsite)

Compensation: $130,000 base salary

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer responsible for managing the technical delivery lifecycle of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), including source control, branching strategies, Azure DevOps administration, build and release management, deployable package creation, platform and application version updates, environment governance, custom extension development, and relationship with Microsoft Fabric.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role working with Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Experience managing complex D365 F&O platform and application updates.
• Development excellence, with a strong command of X++ for customizations and solution extensions.
• Proficiency in SQL, .NET C#, Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and DevOps best practices, including source control, branching and merging strategies, code updates, CI/CD pipelines, and release management in an enterprise environment.
• Experience planning and managing enterprise application environments, including provisioning, configuration, backup and recovery, environment refreshes, and platform and application upgrades.
• Experience designing and executing performance and regression testing strategies to validate system scalability, stability, and business functionality across application updates and releases.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable and reliable D365 F&O integration architectures using Data Management Framework (DMF), OData APIs, and business events, including monitoring, observability, and error-handling patterns.
