Job summary

Recovery Alberta in Calgary seeks a Social Worker III to conduct advanced clinical assessments and provide treatment to adults involved with the justice system. You will work within an interdisciplinary team, delivering psychosocial interventions and contributing to risk reduction strategies.

The role includes liaising with external justice agencies, supervising students, and potentially leading clinical planning and program development for the Forensic Assessment Outpatient Service.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work required.
• Active or eligible for ACSW registration.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in mental health.
• Experience with Forensic mental health population.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced level assessment and treatment or act as a clinical lead.
• Provide psychosocial interventions to clients individually and in groups.
• Supervise students and team members as assigned.
• Foster liaison with outside justice agencies and professionals.
