Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Present seasonal lines developed according to market trends.
• Support merchandiser in specific design development projects.
• Conduct trend research and keep up to date with trends.
• Collaborate with buyers and sales team on customer needs.
• Create design and technical sketches using CAD.
• Develop detailed technical packages including BOMs.
• Oversee design to ensure adherence to production calendar.
• Work closely with technical team to ensure styling and quality.
• Approve production samples.

Our client, a leading importer of branded apparel for men, women and kids, is looking for a Senior Outerwear Designer to join their team!!!

Responsibilities

• Presenting seasonal lines developed, providing relevant insight consistent with market trends for their outerwear division.
• Support merchandiser in specific design development projects.
• Trend research. Keep up to date with emerging and current trends.
• Work in collaboration with buyers and sales team on trends and customer needs.
• Create design and technical sketches (CADS).
• Create, develop, and edit detailed technical packages, including detailed technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator and Technical BOMs (bill of materials).
• Creating and overseeing design to ensure quick flow through and strong adherence to the production calendar.
• Work closely with the fit and spec / technical team to ensure the styling and quality from development stage of each product to final production.
• Approve production sample.
