Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 4+ years, or 10+ years without a degree.
• Experience in opto-mechanical design and advanced engineering methods.
• Eligibility for Canadian government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze complex opto-mechanical/electromechanical products from concept to production.
• Lead design reviews and contribute to department best practices.
• Support verification and validation of new designs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship on complex design methods.
• Keep pace with material science and manufacturing trends.
