Job summary

National Bank is seeking a Senior Operations Agent to support branch operations and client service in a hybrid work environment. You will welcome clients, handle inquiries, and assist with daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth office functioning.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and initiative as you collaborate with investment advisors and support teams across the branch network.

Qualifications

  • College diploma in Administration or related field and 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Experience in financial services is an asset.
  • Canadian Securities Course after hire desirable.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
  • Self-starter with initiative and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome clients to the branch and direct them to the right resource person.
  • Provide top-quality customer service in person, on the phone, and via email.
  • Help the assistant or branch assistant, as needed.
  • Make daily bank deposits and submit accounts payable.
  • Carry out daily administrative activities (mail, distribute and file documents, order supplies, manage conference room reservations, etc.).
  • Helping Branch Administrator on Administrative and Operations routine when needed.

Job description

A career as a Senior Operations Agent at National Bank, you will capitalize on your ability to work in synergy with clients and your colleagues. In this role, you will support members of your team by carrying out administrative tasks in accordance with Bank policies, standards, and procedures.

Your team:

National Bank Financial – Wealth Management is the fifth largest mutual funds brokerage firm in Canada. We have close to 1,000 investment advisors who manage the assets of more than 400,000 clients in about 100 branches. You will report to the Regional Manager and work closely with a team of investment advisors.

Prerequisites:
  • College diploma in Administration or a related field and 1 year of relevant experience
  • Experience working in financial services, an asset
  • Have completed, or will work toward completing, the Canadian Securities Course after being hired, desirable Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and priority management skills
  • Self-starter with initiative and attention to detail
