Position Overview

The Senior Operational Program Manager of Product & Platform Trust will help our management teams deliver our vision by guiding collaborative, cross-organizational programs. Product and Platform Trust team focuses on the security and reliability of our software supply chain and overall security posture of our customer-facing applications. This individual will report directly to the Sr. Director of Product & Platform Trust, and should be passionate about helping teams identify and achieve successful outcomes. The role requires a strategic thinker who can work cross-functionally to ensure our products and operations meet the highest standards of security and user trust. This role is remote anywhere in Canada. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences, including those who’ve gained relevant skills through non-traditional paths.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy and Roadmap Development: Help develop and maintain program strategies, roadmaps, and rhythms in support of Autodesk’s product portfolio and business strategy. Ensuring alignment with overall business goals and Trust standards

  • Prioritization and Planning: Engage with Trust, engineering, product, and other program managers to prioritize Trust initiatives while balancing security needs with overall Autodesk strategy

  • Delivery: Work with the Product & Platform Trust leadership to establish clear delivery plans based on strategies. Create alignment on cross-organization initiatives through outcome-driven planning, dependency management, and impediment removal

  • Communications: Develop holistic communications plans for delivering status communications and updates in a scalable way that minimizes friction. Support the communication of program health, initiatives, and achievements to Autodesk teams and divisional leadership

  • Facilitation: Facilitate fact-based, data-driven decision-making with the appropriate domain expertise and program owners

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and identify areas of program improvement. Bring results to program leaders in an actionable manner

Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in a program manager capacity in the software or technology field, with 4+ years involving a focus on Application or Platform security

  • Strong functional understanding of one or more Trust functional areas

    • Security: secure software supply chain, security testing, secure coding, and software composition analysis

    • Privacy: consent and permissions, transparency and choice, global privacy regulations

    • Resilience: system reliability, incident response, threat modeling for resilience, and business continuity/disaster recovery planning

    • Responsible AI: model transparency, governance frameworks, and fairness and bias mitigation

  • Strong functional understanding of cloud native hosting, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD technology

  • Experience managing different company stakeholders, from technical teams to business leaders, product managers and designers

  • Demonstrated superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse stakeholders. Experience in briefing executives and various levels of leaders

  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within scope

  • Demonstrated experience communicating and reporting program health, driving initiatives, and facilitating the delivery of on-time results

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using tooling to scale programs and solutions (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Generative AI tools, etc.)

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment

  • Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, or similar

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $119,600 and $164,450. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
