Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Winnipeg to support day-to-day network operations and drive infrastructure improvements. Benefits

Salaried at $50-54 per hour
Incorporated Business Rate $55-60 per hour
Weekday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm
Dynamic and casual work environment
Some overtime and on-call support required

Qualifications

  • 6 years of technical and network experience managing complex IT environments.
  • Experience working for a network provider or telecom company is an asset.
  • Experience with co-located data centers is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Implement operational plans and objectives to enhance network service delivery.
  • Manage hardware licensing and support contracts.
  • Provide Tier 2 technical support for network infrastructure.
  • Design, implement, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure across multiple sites.
  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding issues and resolutions.
