Job summary

Franklin Templeton in Toronto is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support global data and voice networks in a hybrid work model. The role collaborates with global teams to deploy, monitor, and secure critical infrastructure and services.

You will manage incidents, drive root-cause analysis, implement security controls, and expand automation and resiliency in a 24/7 environment with a 3-day-per-week in-office requirement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in large-scale global enterprise networks; regulated-industry experience preferred.
• Expertise in SD-WAN, OSPF, BGP, cloud/hybrid networking, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, monitoring, troubleshooting.
• Strong Linux/Windows knowledge and ability to write automation code and apply AI in infra ops.
• Analytical, communication, collaboration, customer-service, prioritization, and technical judgment skills.

Senior Network Engineer

This is a HYBRID position which requires 3 days per week in our Toronto office.

About The Department

The Communication Services team delivers secure, reliable data & voice connectivity across Franklin Templeton’s global enterprise. In this 24/7 environment, you will work with modern networking technologies, automation, and global infrastructure and application teams to strengthen business-critical services.

Experience, Technical Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years supporting large-scale global enterprise networks; regulated-industry experience preferred.
• Expertise in SD-WAN, OSPF, BGP, cloud/hybrid networking, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Strong Linux/Windows knowledge and ability to develop automation code and apply AI in infrastructure operations.

Work Schedule & Location

• This is a HYBRID position which requires 3 days per week in our Toronto office.
• Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation and occasional work outside standard hours is required.
• Travel may be required to support remote markets.
