Job description

Why Work Here?

At ATCO, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the network foundation that connects and enables a diverse global business. As a Senior Network Analyst, you’ll influence the future of our enterprise network environment, leading technology evolution and strategic initiatives while helping shape next-generation networking, security, and cloud solutions. Your expertise will help drive reliability, resilience, and innovation across critical business operations.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team where people support and learn from one another, where technical leadership is valued, new ideas are encouraged, and complex challenges are solved together. Through exposure to enterprise-scale transformation initiatives, ongoing learning opportunities, and meaningful work with modern network technologies, you’ll continue to grow your expertise while making a lasting impact on the businesses and communities we serve.

About the Role:

Take the lead in shaping the network technology that keeps ATCO connected, resilient, and ready for the future. As Senior Network Analyst, you’ll combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to develop the enterprise network roadmap, guide technology transformation, and ensure WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, data centre, global, and cloud networks evolve with the needs of the business.

Working alongside a dedicated team of network professionals, service providers, and business partners, you’ll serve as a senior technical authority—translating requirements into practical network solutions, overseeing service delivery, and providing hands-on support where needed. You’ll help strengthen performance, capacity, availability, and resilience while driving greater value from ATCO’s network investments. We’ll also leverage your hands‑on experience both in configuration of our most advanced technology, but also in the data centre where you’ll be involved in installation and upgrades when senior-level expertise is required.

You’ll work with a dedicated team of network professionals responsible for overseeing the Network Managed Service Provider and supporting the planning and deployment of core network solutions. ATCO’s network environment features leading technologies, including Palo Alto SD-WAN and next-generation firewalls, Juniper Mist Wi-Fi, and Cisco LAN and data centre switching.

What You Get to Do:
  • Own and progress the enterprise data network strategy and roadmap
  • Act as ATCO’s senior technical authority for data networking
  • Translate business, application, security, and site needs into network requirements, architecture standards, capacity plans, and prioritized initiatives
  • Oversee major incidents and recurring network issues, holding service providers accountable for effective resolution and prevention
  • Perform effective troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and preventative measures
  • Review and provide technical approval for network designs and changes
  • Lead network capacity, lifecycle, and resilience planning based on utilization, forecast demand, circuit growth, hardware lifecycle, business criticality, and availability requirements
  • Support the acquisition of new solutions, including planning, configuration, and deployment
  • Perform operational tasks as needed, including configuration changes and hands‑on data centre support for critical network deployments
What You Bring:
  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology
  • 7+ years of direct experience in network implementation, operations, and management, including network planning and strategy development
  • A service-oriented approach that prioritises client outcomes and satisfaction
  • Expertise in current network solutions for WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi, data centre networks, and global and cloud networks
  • Experience maintaining highly available networks through route diversity and redundant configurations
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled at tailoring technical information and presentations for audiences ranging from technical teams to executives
  • Ability to work across functions and organisational levels to align stakeholders around shared goals
  • Demonstrated aptitude for assessing emerging business and technology trends, identify technical and functional gaps, and recognise opportunities within the organisation
  • Availability to provide emergency after-hours support to assist the Managed Service Provider, if required
  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes and their application in an enterprise IT environment is an asset
What We Offer:
  • A culture based on caring, integrity, agility, collaboration, and striving for excellence
  • Competitive compensation
  • Flex benefits
  • Tuition assistance program
  • Training and mentorship programs
  • Charitable donation matching
