Job summary

SOVRA is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Developer to join our engineering team in Laval, Quebec, on a hybrid basis. You will work across the stack, from API design and backend logic to front-end implementation, in a rules-driven web app built with .NET Core and TypeScript.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of fullstack experience, strong C#/.NET Core skills, and proficiency in TypeScript with Angular or React.

Qualifications

• Fullstack development track record (8+ years)
• .NET Core and C# proficiency for API/web apps
• Frontend development with TypeScript and Angular/React
• Security and quality standards (OWASP/CWE/SANS25)
• SQL database experience
• AI-assisted development fluency and testing
• Full French–English bilingualism
• Authorization to work in Canada
• Formal education in software development

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features, microservices, and APIs using .NET Core in C#.
• Develop frontend features in TypeScript within an Angular/React codebase.
• Apply AI tooling to generate unit tests and assist QA activities.
• Collaborate with product, development, and QA to meet business needs.
• Document code in French to support long-term maintenance and knowledge transfer.
