Job summary

Applus+ is seeking a Level II NDT Technician to oversee and complete non-destructive testing inspections across client projects in Canada. The role involves field activities, equipment setup, technical reporting, radiation safety, and client interaction.

Travel within Canada is required, with potential overtime and on-call duties. The candidate should have CGSB Level II Ultrasonic and CEDO certifications and 3–5 years of NDT experience, along with a valid Class 5 license.

Qualifications

  • CGSB Level II Ultrasonic certification required.
  • CEDO certification required.
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • 3–5 years of NDT inspection experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and complete NDT field inspections in compliance with client, industry, and company standards and policies.
  • Prepare and complete all required inspection paperwork.
  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain NDT equipment in functional condition.
  • Apply testing criteria per applicable specifications for NDT methods.
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection findings using codes and standards.
  • Provide direction and mentorship to Level I and Trainee Technicians.
  • Provide orientation and training to Level I and Trainee Technicians.
