Stantec is seeking a Senior Municipal Engineer to join our Water team. The role will be based in either our Toronto, London, or Stoney Creek office locations (hybrid). This role allows you to demonstrate your experience with challenging storm and sanitary conveyance projects for clients within the GTA and Southwestern Ontario. You will be working alongside a Project Manager as a key member of the project team and providing guidance to other staff in developing municipal conveyance designs on a broad variety of projects from small diameter sewers to pumping stations and transmission mains in complex locations. This role will provide an opportunity to lead and support designs with the goal of advancing your career in municipal design as a specialized technical resource, project manager or team leader. You will be performing a variety of tasks which may include the development of engineering designs, technical reports, drafting and supporting proposals, and liaising with the client to move project designs forward. Tasks will include technical data compilation / assessment / validation, specification development, technical report writing, cost estimation and engineering calculations. Field work may be required on occasion, such as during construction inspection to ensure contractor’s operations comply with contract drawings and specifications.

In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
