Job summary

match box consulting group is seeking an ML Developer to build, optimize, and deploy machine learning models and data pipelines in an energy sector context. Qualifications

• BSc./MSc. in CS, Engineering, Math, Physics, Statistics, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of overall work experience.
• Minimum 3 years delivering AI/ML projects end to end.
• Minimum 2 years as a software developer on a delivery team.
• Proficiency in at least two languages, such as Python, Java, or C#, with solid Python data package experience.
• Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS.
• Good knowledge of SQL and both relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of ML algorithms, with ability to build and optimize models independently.
• Working knowledge of DevOps practices and automation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in team planning and effort estimation for ML and software work.
• Build, optimize, and maintain ML models and data pipelines from prototype to production.
• Apply software development best practices, including TDD and CI/CD.
• Design operational aspects of model deployment: automation, monitoring, drift detection.
• Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and product teams on ML solutions.
• Review requirements, prototype solutions addressing business needs.
• Perform code reviews and provide actionable feedback.
• Test and debug application code for reliability and performance.
