Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead cost estimating for mining and mineral processing projects worldwide, coordinating teams of discipline estimators and engineers across multiple milestones.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience with mining studies, large capital programs, and portable estimating tools. Expect domestic and international travel and the ability to work from home or in a Stantec office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years combined experience in estimating and construction roles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Lead mining studies and program-level estimating efforts including PEA, PFS, FS, execution-stage, sustaining capital.
• Coordinate inputs from all estimating disciplines into a single cost estimate.
