Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is seeking a Senior Long-Term Planning Engineer to lead life-of-mine planning for the Macassa Mine and drive scenario evaluations that optimize costs, productivity, development, and capital scheduling.

You will integrate mining design, scheduling, and capital expenditure decisions with geology and short-term planning teams, ensuring alignment with corporate targets and safety standards. This is an on-site role in Ontario, with occasional site visits.

Formación

• Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of mining experience in underground mining within engineering roles.
• Experience in long-hole, mechanized cut-and-fill and other mining methods.
• Experience with Deswik planning software.
• Experience in gold or other high unit value metals.
• Good understanding of regulatory standards related to mining in Ontario.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Lead life-of-mine planning and scenario evaluation to optimize costs, productivity, development, and design.
• Develop 5-year plans, budgets and schedule alignment with corporate targets.
• Perform mineral reserve estimation, economic analyses and investment decisions.
• Collaborate with geology, short-term planning and projects for comprehensive LOmp.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and environmental practices.
• Coordinate with site heads to communicate material changes and updates.
