Role Overview
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Senior Mine Engineer will be responsible for supervision of mine planning, drill/blast planning and surveying department. Other tasks will include execution of strategic planning, budget review, project management as well as coaching and mentoring of EITs. Additionally, the role provides a development opportunity as there will be occasions that acting as the Chief Engineer is required.

Professional Engineering Designation or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer within 6 months.
Minimum of eight years of open pit mine engineering experience required.
Proficiency mine design software such as MinePlan considered an asset
Familiarity with Fleet Management Systems, production reporting systems and analytical tools (such as PowerBi)
