ELEKS Legal Department is looking for Senior/Middle Legal Counsel in Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv).

REQUIREMENTS
  • Master's degree in law
  • 5+ years of experience in law
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience with client‑facing agreements in various international business transactions
  • Strong working knowledge of IP and IT law
  • Experience with privacy law (e.g. providing legal advice, drafting data privacy notices, policies, executing GDPR compliance projects)
  • Advanced level of English
  • Outstanding analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong coordination skills
WOULD BE A PLUS
  • Privacy certification (e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM or CIPT)
  • Work experience at international companies
  • Professional certifications and completion of specialized courses
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drafting, reviewing, amending, and negotiating a broad range of client‑facing and other commercial agreements (including NDA, SOW, MSA, DPA, etc.)
  • Providing opinions and summaries on matters of IP, contract, commercial, corporate, data privacy law
  • Participating in and leading complex legal projects
  • Conducting legal research and analysis
  • Resolving a diverse range of law‑related tasks
  • Monitoring developments in global privacy regulations and supporting implementation of compliance strategies
  • Support the development and implementation of internal policies and rules related to the use of AI tools, including advising on legal, ethical, and compliance issues.
