Job summary

Blackbuck Insights is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and support scalable analytics on the Microsoft Fabric platform. You will translate evolving business needs into trusted data products and help shape our clients' BI strategies.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and tech teams to deliver high-performance data pipelines, Lakehouse/semantic models, and governance-ready solutions while leveraging Fabric, Azure services, Python, and Spark to drive insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise analytics and data engineering solutions on Microsoft platforms.
• Strong experience engineering solutions on Microsoft Fabric and modern Azure analytics services.
• Microsoft Azure / Fabric certifications.
• Foundations in data ingestion, transformation, storage, warehousing, and dimensional modeling.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into Fabric-based data models, pipelines, and analytics solutions.
• Contribute to the end-to-end design of a scalable analytics architecture using Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with business SMEs and technical teams to deliver governed analytics solutions.
• Assist with design workshops and document outcomes (requirements, design, data models).
• Design and develop high-performance data engineering components for large data volumes.
• Build enterprise-grade data models aligned with standards and best practices.
