Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking a Senior MEP Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of mechanical, electrical and plumbing scopes on data center and mission-critical projects in Edmonton, Alberta. You will manage budgets, schedules, risks and changes from planning through commissioning and handover.

You’ll coordinate design teams, trades and suppliers, review drawings and submittals, run site meetings, and mentor junior engineers while championing safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience managing MEP projects, ideally data centers or mission-critical facilities
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, mechanical cooling systems and plumbing or fire protection
• Track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Confident with contracts, cost control and subcontractor management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Solid understanding of health and safety practices
• Based in Edmonton, Alberta, or willing to relocate or travel

Responsibilities

About the role

Our client is growing its data center delivery capability and looking for an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to join the team in Edmonton, Alberta. You’ll own the delivery of mechanical, electrical and plumbing scopes on large-scale, mission-critical projects, from planning and procurement through to commissioning and handover.

We’re open to candidates already in Edmonton and to those willing to relocate or travel
