The role involves coordinating the design and engineering delivery of mechanical systems for major projects, requiring extensive mining experience and professional engineering skills. The candidate will work independently and collaborate with multi-discipline teams across multiple offices. This is a full-time, permanent position with no remote work options.
Qualifications
- 10-15 years of industry experience.
- Professional Engineer certification.
- Extensive potash and/or hard rock mining experience.
- Experience with coordination of multiple interfacing engineering teams.
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal).
Responsibilities
- Plans schedules, conducts and coordinates detailed phases of engineering work.
- Coordinates engineering efforts between specialty and other engineering groups.
- Assumes a lead technical role over other engineers for completing specific tasks.
- Prepares cost estimates and staffing requirements for proposals.
- Reviews and checks work of subordinate engineers.
