Job Summary:


Our client is a globalEngineering Design and Project Management Firm. On the heels of successfully growing their market share during and postpandemic, with greater than 24+ months of projectpipelines,their Building Services group is expanding their Mechanical Engineering service line across Ontario.You would be groomed to be their next Mechanical Department Manager

Job Duties:

Mechanical Engineering and Designincluding but not limited to:
  • Heat transfer calculations
  • Heating and cooling equipment sizing
  • Pipe sizing and pump selection
  • Sizing pipes for domestic water and sanitary drain systems
  • Sizing duct systems for air distribution systems
  • Control schematics and sequence of operations
  • Layout of fire protection systems
  • Feasibility studies and building condition assessments
  • Communicate with clients, contractors and sales reps, prepare project documentation and coordinate with other engineering disciplines
  • Conduct field reviews and complete construction administration (shop drawings, RFIs, CCNs, monthly draws, etc.)
Job Qualifications:
  • Candidates with a minimum of10-15+ yearsexperience are encouraged to apply
  • P.Eng
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD; experience with Revit and asset
  • Pro-active approach to work assignments and opportunities
  • Ability to multi-task and be organized, especially under the stress of deadlines
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Desire to work within a team environment and work across multiple offices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
