Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for Maximo implementations, providing architectural guidance, solution direction, and best practices across all technical streams.
- Lead the design and development of complex Maximo customizations, integrations, and system components (Automation Scripts, Java customizations, MBO extensions, REST/SOAP services).
- Define and enforce technical standards, coding guidelines, integration patterns, and DevOps processes for Maximo delivery teams.
- Oversee and review technical deliverables (TDDs, integrations, code review, data models) to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Lead or support MAS 8.x upgrades, cloud migrations, environment builds, and multi‑environment deployment architecture.
- Drive end‑to‑end integration design using Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and enterprise integration tools, ensuring secure, scalable, and supportable integrations.
- Provide direction for data migration strategy, including source‑to‑target mapping, ETL design, validation frameworks, and cutover plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, performance, infrastructure, and database issues across environments.
- Collaborate closely with architects, functional leads, project managers, and client SMEs to shape strategic technical decisions and solution roadmaps.
- Mentor junior and intermediate technical consultants, providing coaching, code review, and knowledge sharing to build team capability.
- Lead or support technical estimation, scoping, and planning for proposals, SOWs, and new project opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, integration, and data governance standards across all technical solutions.

Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of hands‑on experience implementing, customizing, and supporting IBM Maximo in a technical or technical‑lead capacity.
- Advanced proficiency in Java, SQL, Automation Scripts (Jython/Python), and Maximo extension frameworks (MBO customization, conditional logic, escalation logic).
- Deep expertise with the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), including advanced integration patterns, REST/SOAP services, enterprise middleware, and high‑volume or mission‑critical integrations.
- Strong understanding of Maximo and MAS architecture, including system design, database schema, performance tuning, clustering, and deployment topologies.
- Hands‑on experience leading Maximo upgrades, MAS 8.x migrations, environment builds, and multi‑environment DevOps/deployment pipelines.
- Experience designing scalable data migration strategies, ETL pipelines, validation frameworks, and cutover planning for large datasets.
- Proficiency in application server administration (WebSphere, WebLogic, Liberty) and advanced troubleshooting across Oracle/DB2/SQL Server databases.
- Demonstrated ability to lead root‑cause analysis for complex technical, performance, and infrastructure issues across integrated ecosystems.
- Experience reviewing and guiding technical deliverables: TDDs, integration designs, code reviews, data models, reporting frameworks, and security controls.
- Strong leadership skills, with proven experience mentoring technical teams, guiding junior developers, and interfacing with architects, PMs, and client stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience; IBM Maximo or MAS certifications considered an asset.
