Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as engineering officer on a vessel of 400 gross tons or larger.
• Understanding of operation and use of emergency equipment on board.
• Knowledge of applicable Transport Canada requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operation and maintenance of vessel’s machinery.
• Performs troubleshooting and repairs of machinery.
• Liaises with Port Engineering Team for repairs.
