A leading valuation and consulting firm is seeking a Senior Manager in Vancouver to oversee teams, manage client relationships, and ensure high-quality service delivery. Candidates should possess strong analytical and leadership abilities along with a relevant university degree. The Senior Manager ("Senior Manager") oversees Senior Consultants/Consultants/Analysts that he/she typically works with to provide valuation and consultant reports. The Senior Manager should focus both on new business development and maintaining existing client relationships. The Senior Manager leads the team in training and mentorship of analysts and consultants, reviews valuation and consultant/senior consultant reports and is responsible for the preparation and presentation of any valuation litigation and expropriation assignments.
The Senior Manager is responsible for creating positive team member experiences, which lead to excellent client service and drives revenue and profit for the Firm. The ideal candidate with have strong analytical, negotiating and problem-solving skills, coupled with good people skills. The successful candidate will be effective with client development as well as oversight of a team as it relates to review, training, researching issues and completing detailed and more complex valuation, litigation and consulting assignments. University Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Real Estate, Business Management or other degree with MBA, MST or JD required and at least seven years property valuation and related experience required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, AI, and Internet navigation and research.
Valid driver’s license required. Manager should maintain professional designations such as the Appraisal Institute of Canada P.App, AACI, or equivalent, and keep active in professional organizations on a local and national level.
This position directly supervises employees in the Property Tax practice and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Firm's policies and applicable laws.
