Senior Manager, US Advisory Performance Management, Global Functions and T&O

What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager, US Advisory Performance Management, Global Functions and T&O is a key member of the US Advisory Performance Management team, acting as the key Finance relationship manager for the nascent US Functions and Technology business leaders within Global Functions and Technology. This role supports management reporting, financial planning, and analysis to aid business leaders.

As the new US management team in the RBC has been announced, the position demands intensity and collaboration across RBC, providing cost transparency and strategic insight in a fast‑paced environment.

What will you do?
  • Support Finance relationships with senior leadership across US Functions/US business segments (US CM, US WM, RBC Bank, CNB), delivering actionable financial and business analysis.
  • Design and deliver management reporting and performance measurement frameworks, working with Global Functions, T&O Finance and Financial Control to establish reporting infrastructure covering cost reporting and transfer pricing.
  • Partner with business management to develop performance management frameworks, set metrics, and build data infrastructure for ongoing monitoring.
  • Produce and deliver financial and management reporting for US Functions and US Technology to senior management, including monthly reporting, analysis, FTE reporting, and cost allocations.
  • Coordinate construction and challenge of financial estimates, quarterly forecasts, annual plans, 5‑year outlook, and line‑of‑business reviews with a comprehensive understanding of forward‑looking trends.
  • Drive integration of drivers‑based forecasting and cost transparency initiatives to enhance reporting analysis capabilities.
  • Provide executives with analysis and recommendations on financial resource usage, issue identification, monitoring, forecasting, and sensitivity analysis.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
  • 5+ years’ experience in complex business activity, management reporting and analysis, and/or financial resource optimization.
  • Experience with reporting both management and legal entity results.
  • Keen sense of numbers and strong analytical skills with the ability to multitask and handle high‑pressure executive level requests continuously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong influence over stakeholders and the ability to mobilize groups toward common goals.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and adapt quickly to new tasks.
  • Proactive and persistent in issue resolution.
  • Very strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills, data mining skills, and a willingness to explore new technologies to enhance delivery of financial information.
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to any of the following would be preferred:
    • Solid experience and understanding of bank structure and risk management concepts.
    • Experience in financial modelling, including understanding of statistics, risk, or other quantitative metrics.
