Overview

As the Performance Manager (PM) for Technology Infrastructure (TI), this role will lead all aspects of consolidated planning, budgeting, forecasting & reporting processes and drive efficiencies along these processes and tools for the Finance Advisor (FA) teams. Proactively improve finance governance (not limited to SOW/Balance Sheet etc.), advise and support the IT infrastructure group, becoming an integral part of TI Finance team, and assist TI business partners in managing costs, meeting plan and cost management targets. Act as the Financial Advisor to the Admin within TI. Manage central processes such as SOW with business. Engage and partner with the Allocation team for T‑5 estimates and NIE explanations.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, monthly monitoring, reporting, variance analysis and commentary for the holistic TI business
  • Leads TI Admin in a financial advisor capacity as well as tracks Risk/Regulatory related spend and other initiatives
  • Collaborates with financial advisors and supports director and senior director (finance) to ensure timely review of SOWs
  • Leads the coordination effort between T&O Finance PM/FC and TI FAs. Serves as the single point of contact for T&O PM/FC for all aspects including communicating requests, managing timelines, understanding processes and ensuring timely delivery of the requests. Leads discussions with TI FAs for guidance, coordination and delivery on PM requests and monthly reporting and consolidation requirements; standardizes reporting needs and timelines in coordination with PM team
  • Provides consolidated deliverables to the TI business including monthly business review decks and any other ad‑hoc requests to support the SVP/Sr. Director Finance of TI
  • Continuous improvement of processes and tools related to all centralized activities in TI in collaboration with T&O PM Team and TI FA Team
  • Organizes the annual operating plan review sessions between FAs, Business Managers and other responsible parties
  • Understands drivers of costs and recommends ways to optimize and reduce these costs without impacting service levels
  • Embeds a culture of financial discipline through proactive communication, education and utilization of various financial processes, tools and applications
  • Improves the effectiveness of the planning/budgeting process through sharing best practices across TI groups
  • Enhances financial governance in the areas of GL attestation/Contractual maturity
  • Identifies governance, cost management, financial process issues and proactively addresses them by engaging cross‑functional expertise as required
  • Searches for ways for automation, standardization and removal of redundancies in financial processes within Finance and TI
  • Performs other duties as assigned in a constantly evolving role requiring constant pivoting and realignment
Success Requirements
Must Have
  • 7+ years’ experience in relevant finance/accounting capacity
  • CPA, CFA or MBA
