What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Lead the evaluation and implementation of revenue recognition policies in compliance with ASC 606
• Manage a team responsible for technical accounting assessments of complex customer contracts
• Develop and maintain global revenue accounting policies and documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and Product teams to align commercial strategies with revenue recognition
• Oversee the monthly close process and ensure compliance with SOX controls

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 8+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting within a public accounting firm and a corporate environment
• 6+ years of people management experience
• Expert knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP, particularly in SaaS and usage-based revenue models
• Proven communication skills to present complex technical concepts effectively

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• CPA or equivalent certification
• 5+ years of experience in Big 4 public accounting
• Experience in technical revenue accounting at high-growth technology or publicly traded companies
• Familiarity with Oracle RMCS and Zuora Revenue
