Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Canada seeks a Senior Manager to lead SDK Release & Operations for a scalable SDK platform supporting multiple SoC families. You will drive release execution, CI/CD infrastructure, configuration management, and support across development to production stages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of engineering management experience.
  • Experience delivering embedded software, SDKs, or platform software.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, source control, and software release processes.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • SDK Release Management: Lead planning and execution of SDK releases across multiple product programs.
  • Coordinate release activities across software, validation, platform, and product teams.
  • Support release readiness reviews and milestone tracking.
  • Ensure software releases are delivered with appropriate quality, documentation, and traceability.
  • Release Operations: Manage releases supporting pre-silicon and virtual platforms, FPGA and emulation platforms, customer evaluation programs, production and maintenance releases.
  • CI/CD & Development Infrastructure: Lead teams responsible for build infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and release automation.
  • Configuration Management: Oversee versioning, branching, and release baselines; maintain traceability across artifacts.
  • Customer & Product Support: Support delivery of SDK releases to internal and external customers.
  • People Leadership: Lead and develop a team of release, DevOps, and software operations engineers.

Analog Devices is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead SDK Release & Operations for a scalable SDK platform supporting multiple SoC families and product organizations. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for SDK release execution, CI/CD infrastructure, software configuration management, and operational support. This role will help scale and improve software delivery processes that support products across all stages of development, from pre-silicon platforms and silicon bring-up through customer releases and production software. Working closely with software development, validation, product, and customer-facing teams, this individual will drive high-quality and predictable software deliveries across multiple programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • SDK Release Management Lead planning and execution of SDK releases across multiple product programs.
  • Coordinate release activities across software, validation, platform, and product teams.
  • Support release readiness reviews and milestone tracking.
  • Ensure software releases are delivered with appropriate quality, documentation, and traceability.
  • Release Operations Manage releases supporting: Pre-silicon and virtual platforms FPGA and emulation platforms Engineering sample programs Customer evaluation programs Production and maintenance releases Drive consistency and repeatability across software delivery processes.
  • CI/CD & Development Infrastructure Lead teams responsible for build infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and release automation. Improve software quality, build reliability, and release efficiency. Support adoption of common development and release workflows across SDK programs.
  • Configuration Management Oversee software configuration management practices, including versioning, branching, and release baselines. Maintain traceability across source code, build artifacts, and software releases. Support management of software dependencies and third-party components.
  • Customer & Product Support Support delivery of SDK releases to internal and external customers. Partner with product teams on release planning, customer enablement, and software distribution. Help define release packaging, documentation, and release note processes.
  • People Leadership Lead and develop a team of release, DevOps, and software operations engineers. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Coach team members and support career growth and development.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of engineering management experience.
  • Experience delivering embedded software, SDKs, or platform software.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, source control, and software release processes.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in semiconductor or embedded systems development.
  • Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Zephyr, Linux, RTOS-based systems, and embedded development toolchains.
  • Experience supporting software releases for silicon bring-up, customer evaluations, or production programs.
  • Knowledge of software compliance, cybersecurity, and SBOM requirements.
