The Senior Manager – Enterprise Risk will be part of Global Risk Management reporting to the Director – Risk Assurance, Enterprise & Non-Financial Risk. Responsibilities include Risk Oversight and Reporting on Issues Management for GRM, completing the Assessment of Risks process in support of the Bank’s ICAAP process, the GRM Effectiveness Self‑Assessment process for the Board, the quarterly SOX certification process, and regular submissions of OSFI Regulatory submissions.

In this role, you will:

  • Provides Risk Oversight on Issues Management for GRM from a Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) perspective, engaging multiple stakeholders across different risk functions to ensure data accuracy and proper status updates on respective issues
  • Responsible for reporting on existing issues for an executive audience on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Provide GRM teams with support as it relates to Issues Management and the OpenPages system
  • Lead the Bank’s annual Assessment of Risks process, which supports the Bank’s ICAAP process. This involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders across GRM and Finance.
  • In collaboration with stakeholders across the enterprise, Lead the Bank’s annual GRM Effectiveness Self‑Assessment process that is presented to the Board.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams across Enterprise Risk & Non-Financial Risks in order to complete the quarterly SOX certification, assessing and compiling any material changes across the department
  • Monitors the GRM Regulatory Reporting mailbox, ensuring timely submissions of Regulatory deliverables to OSFI on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Monitor best practices at other financial institutions in Canada and globally
  • Collaborate with other internal stakeholders across the three lines of defence
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day‑to‑day activities and decisions
  • Drives stakeholder engagement, management and alignment
  • Provides ongoing communication and interface with Program stakeholders and ensures timely reporting of status and escalation of issues
  • Additional accountabilities as required
