Job summary

Cenovus is seeking a Senior Manager, Discipline Facilities Engineering (Process) to lead a team of process engineers delivering technically sound facility-change designs for CTCHO assets. You will ensure compliance with Cenovus standards and industry practices, own the PSV revalidation program, and guide multi-discipline project scoping and execution.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering and P.Eng. with APEGA.
• Extensive process design experience in oil and gas facilities, SAGD knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with MOC and engineering governance in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior process SME for the Discipline Facilities Engineering team across CTCHO.
• Ensure deliverables comply with Cenovus requirements and industry best practices (ASME, API, CSA).
• Provide senior technical direction on process design of overpressure protection and relief systems.
• Own the CTCHO PSV revalidation program and support Car Seal Authority.
• Provide early inputs on scoping for facility projects and advise other engineering teams.
• Develop standardized designs for repeatable work and capture lessons learned.
• Triage incoming requests and allocate resources to meet timelines.
• Manage team competency, set goals, and provide coaching.
• Oversee third-party engineers and vendors.
• Ensure MOC controls from start to close-out (COIMS).
• Facilitate and approve PHAs and RA/ORA for MOCs.
• Act as Responsible Member under PPMP.
