Zebra in Mississauga, Canada is seeking a seasoned Portfolio Manager to lead product lines and drive strategy across the lifecycle of services and offerings.

Anticipates market and customer requirements for an assigned product line / portfolio. Oversees and approve subordinate VOC and competitive landscape activities, and beta planning. Monitors target markets and identify opportunities for innovation.* May manage a portfolio directly, working autonomously to develop and present business case by completing supportive research, authoring slides and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences, routinely including senior management. Monitor and report business metrics against plan. Recommends metrics to assess business performance. Fully accountable for IBP inputs. Develops documentation of product and market requirements. Manages and approves development of documentation of product and market requirements for portfolio.* Owns product lifecycle management for assigned Product lines / families of moderate to high complexity, including tactical execution, managing custom requirements, developing and driving end of life plans and execution of inventory objectives. Demonstrates full knowledge of development process. May delegate and oversee the work of Portfolio Manager 1 or 2 level team members in executing tactical objectives to support execution to strategy. Contributes to 3–5-year roadmap development process and makes recommendations on the long-term strategy for the product line.* Approves pricing strategy and product price to maximize sales and profitability. Manages promotion strategy recommendations by working in collaboration with Product Marketing department. Approves recommendations to influence distribution strategy to meet reach market needs. Reviews and approves product training materials for use with sales, sales engineers, technical support and other internal and external stakeholders.* Works closely with development teams and other key stakeholders to oversee new service development validating development is on spec. Identifies beta site targets, drafts and implements plans.* Monitors financial performance of product lines and makes recommendations for pricing action against revenue and margin objectives. Sets target product costs for new products. Evaluates cost reduction initiatives working in concert with Sustaining Engineering, Finance and other internal partners.* Approves and manages execution against cost reduction initiatives working in concert with Sustaining Engineering Contributes to innovation by generating ideas for new offerings.* Directly supervises one or more Portfolio Managers**Minimum Requirements:*** Bachelor’s degree required* 12 + years’ experience in portfolio management, or similar, including a minimum of 5 + years leading a team* This role must be located in Canada with the ability to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office/2 days remote) out of Zebra’s Mississauga office.**Preferred Requirements:*** Advanced degree preferred.* Direct People Management & Coaching: Experience directly supervising, coaching, and developing subordinate Portfolio or Product Managers, with proven success delegating tactical objectives while maintaining strategic oversight.* Strategic Portfolio & Roadmap Ownership: Proven track record of owning product/service lines of moderate-to-high complexity, including contributing to 3–5 year strategic roadmaps and translating market research (VOC) into formal product requirements.* End-to-End Lifecycle & Transition Execution: Demonstrated experience managing the entire product lifecycle, with specific expertise in executing complex End-of-Life (EOL) plans, product line transitions, discontinuations, and managing associated inventory objectives.* Financial Accountability & Margin Management: Strong financial acumen with direct experience monitoring revenue and margin performance, setting target costs for new products, and partnering with Finance and Sustaining Engineering to execute cost-reduction initiatives.* Pricing & Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy: Experience authoring and approving pricing strategies to maximize profitability, collaborating on promotional plans with Product Marketing, and approving technical training/enablement materials for Sales and Technical Support.* Integrated Business Planning (IBP) & Executive Presence: Direct accountability for delivering IBP inputs and the ability to autonomously build business cases, author executive-level presentations, and report performance metrics directly to senior leadership.**Equal Opportunity Employer:**Zebra is an equal opportunity employer.
