The role of the Sr. Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - Canada reports to the Director of Finance, covering the full breadth of finance responsibilities and provides leadership, direction and support for all Canada FP&A activities, for both Direct to Consumer (DTC) and Wholesale businesses. You will support the DTC channels, E-Comm and Brick & Mortar (B&M) business for Revenue & Margin, and SG&A including executive reporting, target setting, and process design. The Financial Analyst, Canada Wholesale will report directly to this position.

About the Job
  • As a senior member of the Finance Team, ensure LSC's financial records and results accurately reflect our financial position and comply with legal and statutory requirements, and LSCo Global reporting requirements
  • Prepare and consolidate DTC financial results, using judgment to understand business flow, macro- and micro-economic storylines, and key drivers of financial statements. Determine their reasonableness based on knowledge of business issues and conditions
  • Identify, research, and communicate monthly and quarterly variances to prior periods, budget and forecast
  • Provide business perspective and financial expertise to drive the development of and scenario analysis for the Annual Financial (AFP) and Strategic Business Plan (SBP), including the preparation of business cases
  • Lead the forecast and budget process across Revenue and Margin and SG&A along with the Balance Sheet to ensure completion of all deliverables. Manage DTC capital expenditures (CAPEX) requirements
  • Create tools and reports using SAP & Essbase to support reporting
  • Prepare reporting packages for recurring executive Monthly (MBR) and Quarterly Business (QBR) Reviews, as well as other internal operating reviews and project reporting
  • Ensure strong financial analysis and ad hoc request for presentation is available to Commercial leaders. Ensure integrity of financial models, reporting, and databases
  • Provide leadership, coaching, performance development and direction to direct reports and finance team
About You
  • B.A. or B.S. in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive financial planning & analysis and accounting experience, including direct experience leading teams
  • Broad knowledge of accounting, tax and external reporting
  • You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • You have a desire and curiosity to learn the fundamentals of the business
  • Ability to work with senior level management within an organization
  • Attitude for computers and applications; specifically with SAP, Essbase, and Microsoft Suite

This is a hybrid position based in our Markham, Ontario office. You will be expected in office 2 days per week, typically Tuesday-Wednesday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
