Job summary

Goldbeck Recruiting Inc. invites a Senior Manager, Finance Transformation to Abbotsford, reporting to the CFO. You will lead finance transformation, oversee controllership for two subsidiaries, and drive automation across reporting, systems and controls.

This role offers strategic visibility to the CFO, with hands-on leadership of a small finance team, treasury oversight, and collaboration with IT and operations to modernize the finance function.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in accounting/finance roles.
• Controllership or senior accounting management experience.
• Proven experience in finance transformation and technology implementations.
• Strong accounting, systems and analytics capabilities.
• Experience with automation, ERP, BI or AI-enabled finance tools is a plus.
• Collaborative leadership across strategic and hands-on work.
• Manufacturing/distribution experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

We’re partnering with a successful, growing organization in Abbotsford to recruit a Senior Manager, Finance Transformation. Reporting to the CFO, this is a unique opportunity combining Finance transformation, controllership, treasury and business partnership.

The Opportunity

• Lead Finance process improvement, automation and technology initiatives.
• Modernize manual Finance processes and improve systems, reporting and controls.
• Provide controllership leadership for two growing subsidiaries, including month-end close and financial reporting.
• Lead and develop one Accountant/Bookkeeper.
• Oversee treasury, FX, cash-flow forecasting and corporate insurance.
• Partner closely with the CFO, Controller, IT and operational leaders.

What We're Looking For

• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Controllership or senior accounting management experience.
• Proven Finance transformation/process improvement and technology implementation experience.
• Strong accounting, systems and analytical capabilities.
• Experience with automation, ERP, BI or AI-enabled Finance tools is an asset.
• Collaborative, personable leader who can operate comfortably at both the strategic and hands-on level.
• Manufacturing/distribution experience is an asset.
