Qualifications

The Role

Senior Manager, Card Global technology Product, supporting branch credit card applications typically oversees the operational and procedural aspects of the application process, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and effective customer service. This role bridges credit policies with frontline branch activities.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Lead and drive a customer focused culture throughout the team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
  • Lead, mentor, and train branch staff on product knowledge, application procedures, and customer service standards. This also includes identifying training needs and evaluating performance.
  • Identify defects and issues and elevate and take action as appropriate
  • Proactively pursue new methods to support stakeholders and assist with defect resolutions
  • Ensure the quality assurance program is executed and weaknesses/gaps are addressed
  • Support various regulatory requirements as requested by OSFI/Internal Partners
  • Work closely with other departments - Management, and leadership, to align branch activities with overall business goals and introduce product enhancements.

  • University degree in business, finance, mathematics, business, engineering or other related fields.
  • Strong knowledge in the business, product and end to end processes of Canadian retail banking operations.
  • At least 5-8 years of experience managing projects within the financial industry.
  • Experience in business management, internal control, risk management, compliance, audit or related areas.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), presentation and facilitation skills.
