Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Engineering to lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering innovative digital commerce and personalization capabilities. This role will drive technology strategy, execution, and delivery across the platforms that power customer engagement, marketing activation, and end-to-end digital experiences. As a senior engineering leader, you’ll guide teams building scalable, data-driven, and customer-centric solutions that enable personalized experiences across web, mobile, and authenticated channels. You’ll partner closely with digital product, marketing, and data teams to bring modern digital capabilities to life.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams delivering solutions for digital commerce, personalization, and marketing activation.
  • Drive the development of modern, cloud-based architectures leveraging APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
  • Partner with product and design teams to deliver advanced personalization, A/B and multivariate testing, and journey orchestration capabilities.
  • Oversee engineering of content management, digital experience, and mobile app platforms to ensure scalability, resilience, and reusability.
  • Champion engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and secure-by-design development.
  • Collaborate with enterprise technology and data teams to ensure interoperability across customer and marketing ecosystems.
  • Build a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and accountability within the engineering organization.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 3+ years in people leadership roles.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale digital commerce or marketing technology capabilities such as personalization, journey orchestration, A/B testing, or CMS-driven experiences.
  • Strong understanding of modern engineering and architectural patterns, including APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with web and mobile application development, including integration with analytics and customer data platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams in agile environments and deliver outcomes aligned to business goals.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
