What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Digital Sales & Distribution Integration to join our team. This role will be instrumental in driving digital integration initiatives across our Sales & Distribution channels, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and fostering collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Life, Health, and Wealth Insurance Operations, with a proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects, streamline processes, and deliver measurable results in a fast‑paced, digital‑first environment.

This is a high‑impact role that requires a strategic thinker who can anticipate challenges, align stakeholders, and ensure operational excellence while driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.

What will you do?
  • Collaborate with leadership to define and prioritize strategic goals, ensuring alignment across Sales & Distribution channels and driving the company’s direction.
  • Partner with Digital teams through Agile Program Increment (PI) planning to align priorities, define objectives, and ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with Risk, Procurement, and Vendor Management teams to manage contracts, agreements, and internal risks related to privacy, data, operations, and cybersecurity.
  • Act as a relationship manager for distributors and their digital solutions, including their vendors, CLIEDIS, and CAILBA, fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for RBC Insurance business (Operations/Sales & Distribution) across the Digital portfolio.
    • Partner with Digital leadership on Digital Portfolio Roadmap management.
    • Ensure agile trains engage the right stakeholders and bring in subject matter expertise.
    • Leverage strong internal relationships to connect the right people within the organization and ensure alignment on key initiatives.
  • Identify and address operational challenges, proactively driving process improvements and innovation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What will you need to succeed?
Must‑have
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, or experience in a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Life, Health, and Wealth Insurance Operations, with a focus across Contracting, Compensation, New Business, and Client Services
  • 5+ years of experience as a subject matter expert in industry contracting systems, including APEXA and RBC Insurance FASAT systems.
  • 2‑3 years of experience in process and procedure design, driving efficiency and operational improvements across the organization.
  • Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing complex projects in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience partnering with Digital teams through Agile Program Increment (PI) planning, with a demonstrated ability to align priorities and deliver results.
Nice‑to‑have
  • Strong understanding of digital tools, platforms, and technologies used in sales and distribution.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with industry partners, including MGAs, National Accounts, distributors, and carriers, to drive collaboration and alignment.
  • Experience in improving CITS feeds and contributing to the design of data exchange through APIs or other emerging methods.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with experience working with distributors, their digital solutions, and their vendors, including CLIEDIS and CAILBA.
