Job description

Take your career to new heights with Loopio! Over the last decade, Loopio has changed the way organizations look at their RFP process. Now, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager to shape how people look at us. Yes, we make RFP software for a B2B audience—but we don’t think that should limit our creativity or force us to be buttoned up. We need someone who can push the boundaries so that our brand stands out in our market—without losing sight of our key buyers and goals.

This role is part of our Brand & Communications team (the creative muscle of the marketing department), but will also work closely with stakeholders across Loopio to bring our brand to life on every channel—from online assets to physical events, social media, paid ads, swag, and more.

Note: This is an existing vacancy on the team. Please include a link to your portfolio or any relevant materials in your application.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Oversee design production. You’ll handle all major brand and marketing design projects across the business, acting as both the designer and project manager.
  • Manage design resources. You’ll help us choose vendors to work with, suggest new tools or systems to try, and have a strategic eye on what we should be doing to improve our design process.
  • Scale brand impact using AI, without sacrificing quality. You’re comfortable using AI‑assisted tools to scale your team’s impact when (and where) it makes sense, without compromising brand integrity. You'll build review and governance practices so AI‑assisted work across the company stays on‑brand, accurate, and clearly accountable.
  • Build and maintain a world‑class visual identity. You’ll help guide and evolve the visual identity of our brand, and communicate these standards to the entire company so we always look our best.
  • Own video and motion as core brand channels. Short‑form video, animated social content, and motion‑driven web/product marketing assets are now everyday deliverables, not special projects. You'll build the systems and templates that let our team produce them at speed.
  • Mentor and teach others. You’ll manage the design function, mentoring and work alongside our web designer and freelancers, and help train other marketing team members so we can execute efficiently.
  • Collaborate across our organization. This role will work with the Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, Product Management, Product Design, Partnerships, and Talent teams to develop visuals for a variety of audiences, from customers and prospects to employees and more.
What You’ll Bring To The Role:

5-8 years of experience managing brand and design in‑house (preferably in tech and/or a B2B company). You’ve designed it all—from web and print work, to swag and event collateral, to logos, icons, slide decks, and more. You’ve been the most senior designer on a team before, and is comfortable bringing the visual identity of a brand to life. Now, you want to be more strategic and innovative—to create something truly unique in a growing market.

  • Excellent project management skills. From creative brief to delivery, you know how to juggle projects and get them over the finish line with little oversight. You work fast and smart, thanks to your battle‑tested design process, which helps you get everyone on the same page so you can avoid big revisions later. You’re also extremely organized, which helps you keep your priorities (and our design files) in check.
  • Confident communication. You know that getting the best outcomes requires you to guide stakeholders in the right direction (with tact). Your consultation skills are second to none, and you know how to handle feedback to move projects forward productively.
  • Creative and collaborative mindset. If you like brainstorming campaigns and bringing a unique angle to everything that you do—and have a portfolio full of work that proves it—you’ll fit right in on our passionate team.
  • An internal drive to learn and grow. You’re constantly upping your game, researching new styles, experimenting with tools, and expanding your skills through continuous learning opportunities outside of your space or industry.
  • Technical proficiency in key software and tools. You’re adept at design tools like Adobe’s Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) and/or Figma. You’re knowledgeable about print processes, accessibility standards, video/motion, and web design principles.
  • Bonus: a variety of design skills. These aren’t requirements, but if you have them, you should mention them to get a leg‑up on the competition: photography or videography skills; animation skills; and/or illustration experience.

Questioning your qualifications?

Read this. Hi there, we recognize that all too often, potential candidates don’t apply for a position simply because they don’t hit every single criteria included in the job description—particularly members of underrepresented groups. Whether or not your experience checks off all the boxes on a job posting, we still encourage you to apply to ensure that your application receives a review from our team. We understand that a resume can only showcase so much during the applicant stage, so we've created prompts in the application for you to share more about yourself. If you've made a career transition (or a few!), you’re self taught in a new role, or you have skills/experience you’d like to highlight, we want to hear more about what you could bring to the table.

AI in Recruitment

At Loopio, we leverage artificial intelligence (AI) technology to enhance our recruitment process. These tools assist with tasks such as resume screening, drafting preliminary job descriptions, generating initial interview questions, transcription and occasionally sourcing prospective candidates. However, AI is never used to make final hiring decisions; our use of AI serves to support repetitive and administrative tasks in order to streamline our hiring and recruitment workflows. We are committed to the responsible use of AI in our hiring practices, prioritizing both an improved candidate experience and operational efficiency. Our standardized hiring practices remain focused on reducing biases, with all key hiring decisions solely made by our team. We continuously review and refine our hiring practices to align with industry best practices and evolving legal guidelines.

AI Usage in Interviews

The Loopio interview process is designed to help us better understand your professional experiences, as well as your unique perspective and approach to delivery and collaboration. To ensure a fair and accurate assessment, we expect candidates to refrain from using AI‑generated content to produce responses to our interview questions during the live interview, as our goal is to evaluate your own knowledge and problem‑solving abilities - not those of an AI assistant. If AI‑generated responses are identified during the interview, Loopio reserves the right to disqualify candidates from the interview process. For specific roles that include a take‑home assignment, our AI Interviewee Policy allows the use of AI for initial support; however, the final submission must be a true reflection of your personal insights, skills and decision‑making.

Equal Opportunity Employer

Loopio is an equal opportunity employer that is deeply committed to building equitable workplaces that are diverse and inclusive. We actively encourage candidates from all backgrounds and lifestyles to consider us as a future employer. Please contact a member of our Talent Experience team (work@loopio.com) should you require accommodations at any point during our virtual interview processes.
