What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Oversee the transfer pricing function, ensuring strategies align with the employer's business model
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the R&D Credits and Incentives claim process
  • Develop and maintain a cash tax forecasting model to project tax liabilities across the U.S. and Canada
  • Manage tax compliance and reporting related to transfer pricing
  • Ensure timely meeting of withholding tax obligations and coordinate with advisors for compliance
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • CPA, CA, or other relevant professional designation preferred
  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant tax experience, with recent leadership in tax operations
  • Proven experience in transfer pricing, especially with Cost Sharing Agreements (CSA) and cost‑plus methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian SR&ED credits and U.S. Section 174 R&D tax regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex subject matter
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Prior experience within an online marketplace or eCommerce environment
  • Strong skills in MS Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus
  • Demonstrated success in building and improving processes
  • Very organized with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
