Are you someone who thrives on building major energy projects in collaboration with Indigenous communities and governments? Do you have experience navigating complex negotiations with a goal of advancing meaningful and trust-based relationships on major infrastructure projects? Hydro One is looking to grow our Indigenous Partnership and Business Development (Capital Projects) team with two new leaders focused on leading the implementation of our industry leading 50/50 First Nations Equity Partnership Model and negotiations team that are supporting 14 major transmission line projects.
These roles will require you to lead the development and execution of strategies and establish positive and influential relationships with Indigenous communities, their elected officials and governing bodies to advance priority projects in true partnership. These roles will also provide strategic advice and operational guidance to Hydro One’s Lines of Business to ensure their work programs and standards reflect the spirit and intent of the principles and objectives of the Indigenous Relations policy.
