Overview

You will be a partner to the Clinical Director and Office of Patient Safety and Quality (OPSQ) Administrative Leadership in planning, developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve clinical quality and patient care in the hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Lead institution-wide clinical risk management strategy, encompassing safety walkabouts, risk mitigation frameworks, and results management systems to drive proactive risk prevention
  • Direct the development and implementation of comprehensive patient safety education programs, fostering collaborations across SGH, SingHealth clusters and external partners to build organizational capabilities
  • Oversee enterprise risk management framework, utilizing advanced analytics to identify high-risk clinical practices and drive systematic improvements through the Risk Register review process
  • Champion patient safety culture transformation through strategic communication and education initiatives, measuring success through culture surveys and established indicators
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives across departments, enhancing clinical processes and patient outcomes through evidence-based approaches
  • Develop innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency while maintaining highest safety standards
  • Build strategic partnerships within healthcare ecosystem to enhance care processes and strengthen patient safety practices
  • This pivotal role bridges clinical expertise with strategic management, directly contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care through robust proactive risk management strategies, strong safety culture and integrated and standardized patient safety curriculum.
