Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider in Ontario is seeking a Senior Software Developer with expertise in mainframe technologies. The role requires extensive programming experience, specifically with PL/I and DB2, and offers the opportunity to work on complex system designs. Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience writing mainframe PL/I transactions that process XML input and produce XML output.
  • Experience with z/OS V2.2 or higher is essential.
  • Recent experience in using PL/I V4.5 or higher within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis leading to detailed technical specifications.
  • Development and modification of code to implement the design.
  • Participation in integration testing with the BA and other developers.
