Job summary

Bevertec is seeking a data analytics professional in Canada to leverage AI/ML for data science and analytics projects. The role emphasizes translating complex business questions into analytical problems and delivering robust models and dashboards.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of experience with data preparation, statistical methods, and data governance, and will work with large, diverse datasets to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 7 years in AI/ML applied to data science or analytics (anomaly detection, predictive monitoring, automation).
• 7 years experience with statistical and programming languages such as R, Python, SQL.
• 7 years experience building analytical and quantitative models.
• 7 years data prep for prescriptive/predictive modelling.
• 7 years experience with complex statistical modelling methods.
• 7 years knowledge of data sharing, data-linkage, de-identification, metadata, data quality, ethics, synthetic data and data literacy.
• 6 years combining raw data from diverse sources across domains.
• 5 years framing business questions and defining the analytical problem.
• 5 years creating visualizations, dashboards, and analytical models.
• 6 years applying statistical and data mining techniques to business issues.
• 5 years working with large datasets.

Job description

• 7 years experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) applied to data science or analytics, such as using ML for anomaly detection, predictive monitoring, or AI-assisted data transformation and automation.
• 7 years experience and comprehensive skills in using statistical and computer languages, e.g. R, Python, SQL
• 7 years experience in building analytical and quantitative analysis models.
• 7 years experience in preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modelling
• 7 years experience with and understanding of different approaches and methods for data analytics and data science (e.g. complex statistical modelling).
• 7 years experience and knowledge of data sharing, data-linkage, de-identification, metadata, data quality, ethics, synthetic data and data literacy and how to promote use of government data.
• 6 years experience combining raw data from a variety of data sources within and across domains.
• 5 years experience in understanding complex businesses questions and framing the right analytical question to solve a business problem.
• 5 years experience preparing visualizations, dashboards, and analytical models
• 6 years experience with and understanding of statistical and data mining techniques to address key business issues.
• 5 years experience working with large datasets.
